I’ve been a professional trainer since 1997, working in the UK and Ireland, Australia and now back to Ireland. I have always followed the mantra, ‘the goal is to keep the goal – the goal’. That is to say, whatever goal the client wants and needs has always been the priority.

Below I touch on the who, why and how we train, but in brief, my clients are 40 plus professionals who value their health now and moving into the future years.

Everyone has goals on the spectrum of strength, fitness, moving better and losing weight and I have solutions for each of these. Under safe and professional guidance every client is coached towards their goal and it’s commonplace for everyone to discover how well they can move and achieve greatness in their physical practices. WHO IS MOVESTRONG FOR?

The people I really want to help are those who value learning and understanding how to move better, who understand the importance of being stronger and fitter to support their lifestyle today and going into the future. WHY TRAIN WITH MOVESTRONG?

I believe in simple, smart training. I believe that a healthy life is the result of developing and sustaining strength, fitness, mobility, good nutrition and healthy sleep habits.

At MoveStrong I teach in detail not just how to execute each gym movement properly but why. Everything we do is purposeful and intentional whether it’s during a skill, a strength movement or a challenge section of the training session. It’s safety first folks!

I recently returned from a couple of years living abroad, and to say the least I had a bit more excess baggage than when I departed and a very sluggish metabolism to boot. I looked in to joining a gym, but was quite intimidated especially when it came to free weight training so I contacted Jamie about his services. 

When I initially met with Jamie, I was extremely impressed with how at ease he made a novice like me feel, and how he really delved in to what my body could and could not handle – and then tied everything together with my routines. It’s obvious how knowledgeable he is about human movement. 
Two months later I have lost 5kg’s, I have core strength that I never thought was possible and I absolutely love my time spent in the gym. Jamie has been so patient with me and I thoroughly look forward to my time working out these days. I never thought I’d be so excited about kettlebells!

AS A KEEN CYCLIST WITH LEG LENGTH DIFFERENCES, I HAVE TRIED IN VAIN FOR YEARS TO ADDRESS MUSCLE IMBALANCES WITH PHYSIOTHERAPISTS AND PERSONAL TRAINERS. NONE WORKED MAINLY DUE TO THE FACT THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DYNAMICS ASSOCIATED WITH BALANCING ON A SADDLE AND PRODUCING POWER. JAMIE USED A METHODICAL APPROACH AND PROVIDED A TAILOR-MADE PROGRAM TO ADDRESS THE IMBALANCES. JUST AS IMPORTANT WAS HIS WILLINGNESS TO LISTEN THROUGHOUT, AND CHANGE THE PROGRAM TO SUIT ME WEEK BY WEEK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JAMIE – PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND GREAT GUY TO BOOT.
